Our Team

Marty Peets has completed more than 75 residential development projects in partnership with his longtime friend Arthur C. Piculell, Jr., with whom he has collaborated since 1995. Marty founded commercial real estate brokerage and management firm Northern Properties, Inc. in 1974 and presided over the company until its merger into Grubb & Ellis Co. in 1985. Marty brokered, managed and/or developed income properties ranging from large apartment projects, commercial retail centers and free-standing, net–leased retail outlets. He personally handled major transactions including 200,000 sq. ft. plus Class A office buildings in Portland and San Diego, each selling for over $29 Million, major apartment complexes and various retail sale/ leasebacks. Marty is a member of the local, state and national Homebuilders associations. He obtained his education at the University of Oregon.

Mark Lawrence joined his father-in-law Marty Peets in the land development business in 1999. Since that time, Mark has coordinated and managed the development of eight residential subdivisions, primarily in the Eugene area. His attention to detail has been vital to many aspects of development, from planning, engineering, construction, budgeting and architectural compliance, to marketing and sales. Prior to joining The Piculell Group, Mark was a Sports Coordinator and Recreation Coordinator for the Chehalem Park & Recreation District and City of Hillsboro Parks & Recreation Department, respectively. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon.

Nick Peets has been developing residential subdivisions with The Piculell Group for nine years. Working alongside his father Marty Peets, Nick’s primary focus is land acquisition analysis – including city and county development codes, comprehensive plans, relative sales and government regulations – and project marketing. Nick earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon.

Angie Dobrowski joined her father and brothers at The Piculell Group in 2006 to help launch commercial and retail development activities at the firm. Angie managed the development of retail properties featuring national brand tenants in Hillsboro and Eugene and currently is vetting new market opportunities. Prior to joining The Piculell Group, Angie was a partner in Iona Factor Public Relations and Public Affairs, a boutique agency in Portland. Her nearly 20-year career in public relations and marketing included stints as Public Relations Manager for outdoor clothing giant Columbia Sportswear Company (Portland, OR), Account Manager for entertainment PR firm The Lippin Group (Los Angeles, CA), and independent consulting. Angie holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.
